About Me

My name is Samantha Hartl and I am a special education teacher at Medford Area Senior High School. I moved to the Medford area in 2017 and immediately fell in love with the community. I am a wife to Ryan and a dog mama to two adorable fur babies, Jordy and Ollie. I grew up in Wausau with my amazing parents, Doug and Danielle and my younger sister, Sierra. I graduated from Wausau East high school in 2012 and attended UW-Marathon County and UW-Stevens Point for my bachelors degree. My passion for students and teaching started when I began to volunteer for Rainbows End in Wausau. Rainbows End is a camp for children with a wide variety of disabilities. I have volunteered at Rainbows End for 10 years and hope to continue to do so the next few years.
